Get artistic with your point & shoot camera! Join award-winning photographer Margo Moss for this series of one-day photo shoots in some of the areas most beautiful locations. These workshops are designed for students to learn to capture picturesque images of nature, architecture, and the unique activity in our region. The focus of this class is on learning to see compositions and creatively discovering ways to document the world around you. Meet like minded people and hone some new photo skills. This in the field workshop requires a good deal of walking. All cameras welcome.

Get started or deepen your experience in drawing the figure. This is a structured life drawing class exploring classical approachesto the study of the figure as animate. This workshop features found objects, recycled and low-cost materials for building percussion, wind, and string instruments. Build instruments! Record songs! Make a CD! This music workshop features recycled and low-cost materials for building percussion, wind, and string instruments. In addition to creating an orchestra, students learn playing techniques for each instrument; compose and record their own original songs; and design their own CD covers. Workshop skills include ensemble playing and physical coordination, counting and rhythm, creative writing, simple notation, musical arrangement and basic recording techniques. Participants work
